Is pain slowing you down?
Are you sick of aches and pains that won't go away on their own? Or have you had a recent injury that you don't know how to fix? If so, we're here to help at Three Pillar Health.
Our team of therapists have been helping patients just like you get out of pain and back to doing what they love since we opened our doors early 2022. We believe that everyone should have access to healthcare that helps them prevent, treat, and manage injuries, which is why we see everyday people just like you.
Our treatment approach is goals focused: meaning that we tailor our treatments to what you want to achieve. Typically, we first reduce pain and restore movements. We then will focus on restoring strength and confidence in your body, and help you return to activities that you love.
So what should I expect?
Your initial consultation will involve a comprehensive assessment where we discuss your symptoms, concerns and medical history, followed by a physical examination to determine the cause of your problem. A physical examination will usually involve looking at your joint range of motion, muscular strength, how sensitive your joints are to touch and from there we can provide a diagnosis.
Once we have a diagnosis, we will work together to form a treatment plan which will help to achieve your goals and address your problem. The treatment may vary but will often include a combination of manual therapy (hands on therapy), advice and education around your diagnosis, exercises, dry needling as well as other options.
What treatments do physiotherapists provide?
At Three Pillar Health we utilise a range of modalities to provide individualised treatments to help our clients achieve their goals. Such treatment modalities include: exercise, gym strengthening, manual therapy, soft tissue massage, vestibular rehabilitation, western acupuncture or dry needling, thermal modalities, and electrotherapy aids.
