Frequently asked questions
- Do I need a referral?
No. Physiotherapists are recognised first contact practitioners in Australia, so we can assess, diagnose and treat injuries without a referral. You can book yourself in. A Physiotherapist can also refer for imaging if needed.
A GP care plan, sometimes called an EPC, comes from your GP. WorkCover and DVA appointments run on an approved claim, and an approved claim means no out-of-pocket cost on the day.
- How long are appointments?
A private initial appointment runs 45 minutes, so there's room for a thorough assessment and a real conversation.
Appointments funded by a GP care plan, WorkCover or DVA run 30 minutes.
A vestibular assessment runs 45 minutes.
- What does it cost?
An initial physiotherapy appointment is $140, and a follow-up appointment is $115.
Care plan, WorkCover and DVA appointments are funded differently, and every fee we charge is listed in full on the homepage.

Monday to Wednesday, 8am to 6pm. Thursday and Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm. Closed weekends.
Phone lines are open 8am to 5pm, so we're still treating after the phones go quiet. Online booking is open any time.

Find the clinic- What happens at a first appointment?
We work out what's really going on before anyone decides what the treatment should be, which is what the longer first appointment is for.
After visit one you get your diagnosis, the path forward, and how long it should take.
You see the same clinician every visit, and if you don't need to come back, we'll tell you.
- Do you see children?
Yes. Jonathon Cronk is our speech pathologist, and paediatric speech and language is his focus, with a particular interest in stuttering. Sessions are built around play.
Respiratory physiotherapy is for adults and children alike. On the physiotherapy side we also see teenage athletes, including teenage knees, soccer injuries and swimmers.
Speech pathology- What about dizziness and vertigo?
Vertigo and dizziness are real, and they respond to the right treatment.
We use Vesticam goggles to properly assess dizziness.
A vestibular assessment is $170. 45 minutes with vision-denied Vesticam goggles, so we can see what's actually happening.
