Speech pathology for kids, here in Albany Creek.

Jon is our speech pathologist. He sees children, teenagers and adults.

Most of it looks like play.

Jon gets down on the floor with your child. There are picture books, sound cards, puzzles and a few toys that get a lot of use. Your child is working hard without it feeling like work, and you’re sitting right there. We show you what we’re doing and why, so you can keep it going at home between visits.

We also see children where they spend their day. We are passionate about offering mobile services to meet clients in their home, at schools, or at child care centres, where therapy can have the greatest impact.

It might be a late talker. It might be a teenager who stutters.

Some children come to us because the words are slow to arrive. Others are at school and finding speech sounds, reading or writing hard. We also see teenagers and adults who stutter, people with voice problems, and people finding communication hard after a brain injury. Jon sees all of them.

Not sure where your child fits? Ring us and ask.

Jon assesses and treats across all of these.

The first visit is mostly about getting comfortable.

Your child gets to meet Jon, see the room and have a play. Jon gets a proper look at how they’re communicating, and you tell him what you’ve noticed at home. Book online, or call the clinic and talk it through with us first. Either way works.
